The Honest Line
The Hill Rest Chair turns beauty inward, into structure. The join of rear leg and backrest is the heart of the chair and the punctuation of its posture—form faithful to construction, everything arising from within, until shape and function become one indistinguishable whole. It is a chair with bone, and no need to show it.
A chair with a backbone. No armrests, no cushion, no excess line—and therefore the widest tolerance for any space. A daily dining chair, a hall single seat, a café chair. For those who value 'less is more' and the inner spirit over the passing trend. Walnut for warm, settled rooms; matte-black ash for modern minimalism.

Hill Rest Chair
The Honest Line
Structure as Ornament
The rear leg and backrest meet in one mortise-and-tenon gesture that is both the load-bearing core and the visual focus.
Light by Design
An all-solid-wood tenon structure; the tilted back and rear leg transition through one considered joint, leaving the whole lighter and cleaner.
A Seat That Curves
A curved solid-wood seat, shaped to the body, proving comfort needs no cushion to be kind.
Two Woods, One Honesty
FSC-certified American black walnut, or ash hand-brushed and matte-black—each finished open-pore, each itself.

The Art of Detailing
Curved solid-wood seat shaped to the body without a cushion.
Every edge hand-sanded to the ‘of-course’ unity that patience gives.
Every seam controlled to close tolerance; reads as one inevitable object.
Backrest and rear leg meet in one integrated mortise-and-tenon.
Embedded with a 12h copper plaque, capturing the essence of time and quality.
Hill Rest Chair
Structure as beauty. Beauty as function.
