The Rolling Archive
An ancient principle of Eastern living. The Rolling Archive answers it with a single gesture: a door of solid wood that rolls open to reveal a world in order, then rolls shut to become a seamless wall of living grain. When closed, it breathes. When open, everything has its place. We did not set out to build storage furniture. We set out to build an atmosphere.

The Rolling Archive — TV Cabinet
The Rolling Archive
A Door of One Piece, Two Worlds
A full-panel walnut rolling door opens to an ordered interior and closes to a seamless wall of grain. No seams, no hardware, no interruption
Joinery Without Noise
The frame is built on traditional mortise-and-tenon, accurate to a single millimetre. The door glides on wood, not metal—silent, smooth, and built to outlast trend.
Two Zones, One Logic
Soft-close drawers on one side; adjustable shelves behind the door on the other. Each with its own quiet intelligence.
Wood That Stays Honest
FSC-certified American black walnut over hand-brushed matte ash. Open-pore finish keeps the timber's natural touch; multi-layer lamination keeps it from warping, cracking, or yielding to moisture.
The Hidden and the Revealed
An ancient principle of Eastern living. The Rolling Archive answers it with a single gesture: a door of solid wood that rolls open to reveal a world in order, then rolls shut to become a seamless wall of living grain. When closed, it breathes. When open, everything has its place. We did not set out to build storage furniture. We set out to build an atmosphere.
The Art of Detailing
Generous top and hand-brushed ash border turn daily objects into a composed still life.
Under-mounted dampened drawer slides with beech dividers inside.
Walnut sliced, numbered, and hand-aligned plank by plank; the rolling door shows almost no seam.
Full mortise-and-tenon frame accurate to 1mm; that precision lets the door glide without metal.
Warm black walnut rolling door in open-pore finish beside hand-brushed matte ash border.
A wall of grain. A world of order.
