Design Story
Design Story
Great design does not break structure apart. It lets structure grow into a whole.
Valley Embrace Chair begins with the chair’s own form. The ends of the curved backrest are precisely cut so that one side extends into the armrest and front leg, while the other becomes the rear leg. What were once separate parts now grow together like branches from a single trunk.
There are no extra joints and no complicated connection details. Everything is shaped in a cleaner, more unified way. What we wanted to express is not only a distinctive silhouette, but a posture that grows naturally from the structure itself.

A Chair That Feels Like It Grew Naturally
A modern design chair with structural innovation
Innovative Structure, Naturally Formed
The curved backrest is precisely cut to split into the legs and armrest, creating a minimal yet complete support structure.
Light, Clean Silhouette
By removing unnecessary joints and extra structural elements, the chair feels cleaner and more recognizable in a modern interior.
Soft-Padded Seat, Comfortable to Sit In
The seat uses a leather-upholstered soft cushion, offering a gentle and refined seating experience for longer everyday use.
Matte Black Finish, Elevated Texture
The ash wood version is finished in matte black and fine brushed texture, giving the wood grain a clearer and more refined look.
Let Structure Grow Naturally
The core of Valley Embrace Chair is the way structure and form are brought together.
The ends of the curved backrest are precisely cut and extended into the armrest, front leg, and rear leg. What would normally require several separate joints is turned into one continuous piece.
This gives the chair a more direct structural logic and a cleaner visual presence. The structure itself becomes its strongest identity, making the chair feel more distinctive in a modern space.
More Open, More Supportive
Valley Embrace Chair is designed with both form and seating comfort in mind.
The continuous curve of the backrest and armrest creates a more complete sense of enclosure, making it easier for the body to settle naturally into the chair.
The seat uses a composite leather with 70% genuine leather content, preserving a refined leather feel while improving wear and scratch resistance for longer-term use.
The Art of Detailing
Integrated Construction, Precise Transitions
The piece is formed as one integrated structure, with smooth transitions at every connection point for a stronger sense of craftsmanship.
Three-Dimensional Curved Backrest
The backrest is shaped to follow the body’s natural curve, creating a refined 3D surface that fits the back more closely.
Wide Armrest Curve, Easier to Hold
The armrest uses a broad curved transition into the front leg, making it easier to rest the arms and more comfortable to hold.
Secure Seat-to-Leg Construction
A solid wood reinforcing crossbar strengthens the connection between the legs and the seat, ensuring long-term stability and peace of mind.
Soft-Padded Leather Seat, Full of Detail
The leather upholstery is well-filled and smoothly fitted, with crisp edge finishing that gives the seat a more refined look up close.
